I generally prefer to work directly from nature (at least in part) but if necessary I am also comfortable working from photographic references. Sittings last between 3 and 4 hours (with regular breaks) and I usually require 3 to 6 sittings to paint a head. Half length or full figure portraits may take upwards of 15 sittings.
Indicative price list:
The prices below are indicative only and assume a single sitter portrait with a simple background. Prices are also exclusive of other costs, such as travel expenses or framing.
