Drawing & Painting Foundations
Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to art practice after a break, Drawing & Painting Foundations is designed to help you build the skills and confidence to take your work further.
A year-long programme introducing the skills that underpin drawing and painting. Across three progressive terms, you’ll explore observational drawing, light and colour, and oil painting through practical exercises and sustained studies.

Portrait Drawing & Painting
If you already enjoy drawing and want to turn your attention to portraiture, Portrait Drawing & Painting will help you develop the skills to capture a convincing likeness and progress into painting from life.
A year-long programme focused on the fundamental skills of portraiture from life. Across three progressive terms, you’ll move from sustained portrait drawings to oil studies of the head and finally to more substantial portrait compositions, working with professional models throughout.
