Painting of the Island of Kolocep in Croatia which I visited several years ago. Done from a photograph, because the closest thing to solvent I could find in Croatian art stores was Turpenoid, which is one of the best brush cleaners and worst painting mediums you can buy. Didn’t like this at all when I painted it but now that it’s been kicking about my studio for nearly a decade I’ve warmed to it.
